Open only to students who will be in the 7th, 8th, or 9th grades during the next school year
Cost: $175
(includes all materials and use of our robot kits)
You may purchase the mBot kit to take home for an additional $100
Payment may be either via Credit/Debit Card or check. Instructions provided in the registration form.

Campers will be introduced to engineering and robotics through hands-on experiences utilizing the labs in the Farragut High School Engineering Department.

Activities will include:

• Using Onshape Computer-aided Design/3D Modeling Software to design a small item and bringing it to life with a 3D printer
• Introduction to basic electronics and soldering while assembling a micro-robot.
• Building MakeBlock mBot, programming using Scratch 2.0 and Arduino IDE, and competing in a tournament 
• Exploration of Robotics Systems: Drive Systems, Electronics, pneumatics, chassis structure, and control systems

​Take-Home Projects:

• A custom-designed 3D printed item
• A soldered micro-robot
• Optional: Students may purchase a new mBot for $100 to take home. If not purchased, mBots will remain with the program for future use.
